Originally from Texas, Jessica, also known as “Jess”, now considers Charleston her home. From a young age, she had a talent for organizing celebrations, whether it was for family birthdays, vacations, or holiday gatherings. Jess loved immersing herself in all aspects of party planning, from logistics to creating detailed tablescapes.

Jess spent her childhood in Austin, Texas but decided to switch things up by attending the College of Charleston. During her junior year, she discovered her love for event planning while interning at a production-style event company. After five years of experience in the industry, she branched out on her own to establish Jessica Joplin Events.

Jess takes pride in her client-centric and customized approach to event planning, while also making the process enjoyable. She firmly believes that planning weddings and events should not be stressful. Jess pays close attention to her clients’ ideas and preferences, crafting each occasion into a unique and unforgettable experience that guests will rave about for years to come.
